Full-Stack Developer

Role Overview

MPM is seeking a highly experienced and hands-on Senior Full-Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications for its Energy Analytics and GSI platforms. The role involves end-to-end ownership of application development, from backend architecture to deployment, with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web-based applications for Energy Analytics and GSI products.
  • Develop robust backend services and RESTful APIs using Java (Spring / Spring Boot) and Python (Flask).
  • Implement data access layers using JPA / Hibernate with MySQL databases.
  • Ensure application performance, security, and scalability through best coding and architectural practices.
  • Deploy and manage applications on Apache Tomcat servers.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines using Docker and Jenkins for automated build, testing, and deployment.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Perform code reviews, mentor junior developers, and enforce coding standards and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to application performance, analytics accuracy, and system stability.
  • Prepare technical documentation and ensure knowledge transfer within the team.

Experience & Qualifications

  • 8-10 years of hands-on experience in full-stack or backend-heavy application development.
  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience working on analytics platforms, data-driven applications, or energy management systems will be an added advantage.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), system design, and enterprise application architecture.
