  • Foundry sand rejection reduced from 8.2% to 5–6% — a 32.92% reduction.
  • Shot blasting time reduced from 15 min to 9 min — a 40% reduction.
  • Rework of castings reduced from 50% to 5% — a 90% reduction.
  • Significant improvement in casting surface finish and faster turnaround.
  • Lower shot blasting requirement led to reduced electricity usage.

Net result: ₹18 lakh in savings for 529 MT of output.
