Electrode Graphite turning & borings are long accepted as being one of the best source of carbon fore increasing & fine-tuning carbon pick-up in molten metal. This is particularly so in the case of SG Iron due to the extremely low sulphur content in the material which is normally specified in range of 0.02% - 0.06% and typically ranges in or around 0.03%
